Terms and Conditions
Professional, semi-professional and amateur dancers are free to take part in the Urban Danceprix. The show/performance should be based basically on urban dance elements (e.g. Funkstylez, Breakdance, HipHop, House, Krump, Waacking, Vogueing, Dancehall, etc.) and free of third-party rights. That means that the choreography must have been developed by the crew itself and must be free of copies or imitations or parts thereof.
Participants are expected to treat everyone involved (other participants, organizers, helpers), especially the jury and their decisions, in a respectful, fair and appreciative manner.
Terms and Conditions
The minimum age of each dancer ist 16 years (22nd of April 2023). In case of divergence please contact us.
- The application is open for Groups with min. 4 and max. 16 dancer. In case of divergence please contact us.
- The urban danceprix is open for professionells, as well as for hobby dancers.
The show should be based on urban dance elements (e. g. Funkstylez, Breakdance, HipHop, House, Krump, Waacking, Vogueing, Dancehall, ...) and is free of any copyrights. The choreografie should not be a copy of an allready existing choreografie.
The show of each group has to last for min. 3 and max. 6 minutes.
Every change or drop out of a dancer has to be communicated immediately to the presenter.
Each nominated Group for the urban danceprix showcontest has to pay for
a) a starting fee of €20, as well as
b) a reservation fee of €200 till the 3rd of April 2023.
Therefor you will receive an invoice from the city council of Biberach.
After your show, the reservation fee will be reimbursed with the complete amount of €200!
With the application every group agrees with the following conditions
a) all Material (text, video, picture) can be used to published for the event.
b) the presenter is allowed to take pictures and videos that can be published afterwards.
Each group, that is registrated to the showcontest finals, has the possibility for a short technic check on stage, in the morning of the day of the show.
The group gets free entry to the showcontest for every member plus 2 attendants. For the whole weekend there will be organised group sleepovers for free.
The Application ist binding. If a group refuses without a medical certificate, the reservation fee will not be refunded.
A behaviour with respect and fairness to each other and to all persons (especially other group members, presenters, helping hands, jury, judges) is expected.
Exclusion
If any person disregards this principals, the presenter has the right to exclude participants or groups of the showcontest.
The Application is made at this website with the following information and uploads:
- Name of the group
- Name, Adress of the contact person
- All members of the crew with information about age and nationality
- information about the crew, show, performance, style
- information about the used music
- Crew pictures
- Video presentation of shows/performances, presentation of the group with a text and e. g. a Link to YouTube.
There are attractive trophys, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd price, as well as an audience price with the following money price:

Travel expenses and other outlays will be refunded by the presenter with a global amount per group of:
- 200-400 km: 75 €
- 400-600 km: 150 €
- more than 600 km: 400 €
Renowned dancers and choreografers with an international reputation will judge the urban danceprix showcontest. Furthermore the audience decides about the public price. After the applycation period, a pre-jury nominates the auspicious crews for the showcontest.
If any person or group disregards this principals, the presenter has the right to exclude participants or groups of the showcontest.
